Violet learned chess at the age of three and began competing by five. Since then, she’s represented El Paso in tournaments across the U.S., Canada, Mexico balancing her passion for strategy with curiosity and creativity.

Away from the chessboard, Violet brings her patience and focus into crochet. From hand-stitched pawns to wearbles, she transform simple threaded into art – each piece reflecting the same discipline and imagination that guide her moves on the board.
